SCHMACHTL delivers first large-scale energy storage to strengthen regional energy in Tyrol.
On Thursday, 06.11.2025, the time had come: our large energy storage units (two 20-foot containers) were delivered in Innsbruck near the Obere Sill power plant.

Particularly exciting was the truck transport of the containers down a narrow forest road into the valley to the construction site. Both large energy storage units, however, could be delivered and installed without any problems.
Thus all components are now on the construction site and nothing stands in the way of the commissioning from 01. bis 03.12.2025.
We are pleased that, as an Austrian large energy storage supplier with comprehensive in‑house competencies, we may accompany our partner, Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe AG (IKB), in this large‑scale flagship project for energy storage in Tyrol from the initial inquiry through the electrotechnical planning and product selection, the project implementation up to the commissioning and the after‑sales service support.
