At SCHMACHTL, we have added the new ROD 300 and 500 laser scanners from Leuze with LiDAR technology to our product range. In addition to even more efficient contour measurements even in the most demanding environments, these latest generation devices also enable precise FTS navigation. Ideal for conveyor belts, driverless transport systems, and other automated processes.

When sensors are supposed to detect contours, it is primarily about precision and detail accuracy. The two new laser scanner series from Leuze set new standards here as an integral part of our individually designed SCHMACHTL complete solutions.

For example, the devices of both series even capture contours precisely and reliably in very fast manufacturing and logistics processes. Thanks to high scan rates and angular resolution, the laser scanners of the ROD 500 series are also suitable for the navigation of driverless transport systems. They create an exact map of the environment and thus guarantee collision-free FTS navigation via Natural Navigation.

Precision from the deep freeze area to hot environments

The devices of both series scan at a frequency of up to 80 Hz. They detect moving objects and guarantee optimal data quality. With their high angular resolution of 0.025° at 10 Hz, the laser scanners of the ROD 500 series also determine the contour of highly glossy or matt surfaces.
