Overview
SGB expands production and launches in Czech Republic. SGB-SMIT Group manufactures transformers for worldwide use.
The Gravity Line from SGB-SMIT comprises numerous designs and performance classes of cast-resin transformers that can be used for a wide variety of standard applications - and in doing so represent a cost-effective addition to the standard portfolio for general applications in the power distribution sector. The Gravity Line benefits from a new, particularly efficient winding system, the cost advantage of which is passed on to the customer during production. At the same time, customers can rely on the usual SGB quality and superior operation, thanks in part to the fully vacuum potted top voltage winding. The Gravity Line is designed in accordance with ECO Design guidelines (as per EU 2009/125/EC) from Regulation No. 548/2014 (Level 1 and Level 2).
